What is micro-encapsulation?

In the fastener industry, micro-encapsulation is a method of pre-applying a liquid threadlocker contained within microscopic capsules onto a section of the fastener's thread.  These pre-applied capsules are crushed and release the liquid thread locking material when the fastener is assembled into the part.

Micro-encapsulation may be added to any of our threaded fasteners.
